Thibeault Applauds Renewed Call for National Sports Injury Reduction Strategy
OTTAWA- – Sudbury New Democratic MP Glenn Thibeault applauded today`s renewed call to action by NDP Sports Critic Pierre Nantel (Longueuil--Pierre-Boucher) to implement a National Sports Injury Reduction Strategy designed to tackle the growing concussion epidemic in amateur sport.
Sudbury MP saddened by the loss of his leader
SUDBURY – MP Glenn Thibeault was shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of NDP leader Jack Layton early this morning.
“Our country has not only lost a great leader, but a great man” said Thibeault. “This is a sad day for all Canadians.”
In light of Air Canada’s fine, NDP calls on Conservatives to take immediate action
SUDBURY, ON – After last week’s, U.S. Department of Transportation’s decision to fine Air Canada $50,000 (U.S.) for deceptive price advertising, NDP Consumer Protection critic, Glenn Thibeault (Sudbury), is calling on the Conservatives to take action and ensure Canadians are not swindled by false airline prices.
